A girl can never have too many badges / buttons

I never knew this when preparing for our first WDW trip however badges are a big thing and a must for any Disney holiday. They can add that little bit of Disney Magic to your holiday without you having to actually do anything! Last year we were each given a free "1st Visit" badge from a cast member on Main street and a few day later Miss Em was given a free cupcake in Pandora just because another lovely cast member had happened to see it. We also had so many other cast members coming up to us in the parks throughout our stay just to wish us a "Happy First Visit" that by the time our holiday came to an end we were wondering how we would get through our days back home without complete strangers wishing us a good day! The badges really did add a lovely touch.
This year we are more prepared and we have picked up some amazing badges from a wonderful UK based Disney loving family on Instagram. Their page is called @barleytolerateddesigns and they have so many different designs available to buy from their website. If they don't have the specific wording/ image you're looking for all you have to do is message them and they are more than happy to help! They have designed and made a few for me upon requests including the birthday badges which show each of our favourite characters.

Their prices are low and their customer service is absolutely amazing. We always receive responses to messages and our badges arrive within a few days of ordering.
The badges are always so well packaged with each one wrapped in it's own individual plastic wallet to protect from scratches and they use small parcel boxes. I prefer this as there is nothing worse than receiving an order which has been rattling around in a box that is far too big whilst in transit. There is always a lovely message written on the inside of the lid and a small bag of Haribo's as an extra which Miss Em always enjoys.
These badges are smaller than the free park badges but with so many more designs to chose from they are a must. I love that the whole family can chose their favourite films and quotes or we can be more specific with what we are celebrating. Also, with them being slightly smaller we have the perfect excuse to wear a few ;)
These badges can also help add a little humour to those sought after Instagram pictures. I definitely plan on getting ALOT of photos with my "Here for the Instagram Photos" and "Calories don't count at Disney!" badges and there's a few others I have my eye on from their site which I know would look great with Disney as a back drop. I will apologise in advance for my badge spam lol
